What Profit Sanity is
Profit Sanity is an independent review and tutorial site for AI tools, SaaS products and online-business software. We exist for one reason: choosing business tools is confusing, and most “review” sites are just thinly disguised sales pages.
We do it differently. Every article explains what a tool does, who it’s actually for, what it costs, where it falls short, what the alternatives are, and how to use it — so you can make the decision yourself instead of taking someone’s word for it.
Who it’s for
Profit Sanity is written for people who are thinking:
- “I want to start an online business, but I don’t know which tools to use.”
- “Is this AI tool worth paying for, or is the free version enough?”
- “Should I build my store on Shopify or WordPress?”
If you’re a freelancer, creator, or small business owner trying to spend wisely on software, you’re in the right place.
How we review tools
- Independent. Our conclusions are our own. No company can pay for a positive review or a higher ranking — ever.
- Hands-on where possible. We sign up, click through, and test the features we write about rather than rewriting marketing pages.
- Limitations included. Every review covers what a tool can’t do well, because that’s usually the part that matters most.
- Alternatives always. No tool is right for everyone, so we name the credible alternatives and say who should pick them instead.
- Updated. Software changes fast. We revisit popular articles when pricing or major features change.
