Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 2026

The short version

Some of the links on Profit Sanity are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep our content free.

What this means in practice

  • When we link to a tool or service we recommend, that link may contain a tracking code identifying Profit Sanity as the referrer.
  • If you sign up or buy through that link, the company pays us a commission out of their own margin. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you went to the company directly.
  • We also place a short disclosure notice on pages containing affiliate links, in line with FTC endorsement guidelines.

What this does not mean

  • Commissions do not buy positive coverage. No company can pay for a good review, a higher ranking, or removal of criticism on this site.
  • We recommend tools we’d use ourselves. If a product is poor value, we say so — even if it offers a generous commission.
  • Alternatives are always named. Every review includes credible alternatives, including tools we earn nothing from.
  • Our opinions are our own. Affiliate relationships never influence our conclusions, scores, or recommendations.

Other revenue

In the future, Profit Sanity may also earn revenue from our own digital products, sponsorships, or advertising. Any sponsored content will always be clearly labeled as such, and the same editorial standards apply.
